The remodeling/rebuilding of this home’s major objective was to offer a mixture of lifestyles normally found in a suburban home to an older more spacious inner-city home, doing so in a manner conductive to and complementary to the existing surrounding structures.

The neighborhood itself is a prime example of neighborhood redevelopment efforts in partnership with the City, lender, Home Builders Association and volunteer neighborhood leaders.

The objective was not only to remodel this specific structure overcoming all types of remodeling obstacles but to do so by re-establishing this as an upscale home within an inner-city community in major transition. The was attention paid to an overall neighborhood redevelopment plan, owners needs and desires and the budget in the rehabilitation of this structure. The project was done within the difficult and detailed guidelines.
